Swadeshi obtains enjoining orders against Care Trust International

Swadeshi Industrial Works PLC has obtained enjoining orders against Care Trust International (Pvt) Ltd., for the violation of intellectual property rights of its Swadeshi Khomba product. The Commercial High Court of Colombo issued the enjoining order on 14th May 2024.  
The Colombo Commercial High Court Judge Pradeep Hettiarachchi issued the enjoining orders preventing Care Trust International (Pvt) Ltd., from violating intellectual property rights in “Khomba”
“Khomba” is a registered trademark of Swadeshi and has been used for over 80 years. Swadeshi Khomba is a registered product at National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA), 
Sri Lanka.
