The Treasury bill yields eased across maturities for the second consecutive time yesterday and the Public Debt Department (PDD) of the Central Bank sold the full Rs.180 million offered.
The three-month yields fell by six basis points to 19.90 percent, while the six-month yields eased 12 basis points to 17.57 percent. The 12-month bill yields eased the most by 13 basis points to 14.16 percent. The PDD offered Rs.80 billion in three-month bills, Rs.55 billion in six-month bills and Rs.45 billion in 12-month bills and accepted the bids in the same order to raise Rs.180 billion.
The three-month bills received Rs.127.8 billion bids and the six-month bills received Rs.116.5 billion worth of bids. The 12-month bills received Rs.118.9 billion worth of bids.
