Issues in internet connectivity led the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) to halt market operations today.
"Due to connection stability issues experienced at the SLT Datacenter, which has resulted in slowness in the Broker Systems hosted in SLT, the market has been halted for approximately 15 minutes in order to switch connectivity to a backup connection," the capital market operator shared via Twitter.
Today's interruption is the third market halt to take place in the last two months due to technical issues.
