Tension flares as borrowers attempt CB entry in parate protest

 A tense situation erupted at the Central Bank yesterday, with some members of Joint Association of Leasing and Debt Installment Payers trying to forcibly enter the Central Bank to air their grievances on parate executions by banks and financial institutions and other issues they face from leasing companies, which ultimately led to the arrest of eight people by the police. The forceful actions taken by financial instituions to execute parate actions have upset borrowers who are still grappling with the repercussions of the country’s worst economic crisis, all while the economy continues to contract.
