Union Assurance celebrates top performers for year 2022 

Union Assurance recently held its National Business Launch, celebrating its top performers for the year 2022. 

The event, attended by over a thousand award recipients, staff, and senior leadership, was held at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre, befitting the
company’s achievements. 

Jude Gomes, the Chief Executive Officer of Union Assurance, and Senath Jayatilake, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Union Assurance, addressed the gathering, commending them for their outstanding performance in the previous year. They also unveiled the strategic theme for 2023 – ‘Higher, Faster, Stronger.’ 

In his address, Jude Gomes said, “Our success last year was driven by the exemplary commitment and dedication of the sales force, ably supported by the cross-functional teams.  We are extremely proud of their outstanding achievements. Our theme for 2023, ‘Higher, Faster, Stronger,’ reflects our resolve to continue making strides in the industry. We are committed to providing best-in-class services and support to our customers, while continuing to invest in our staff and grooming
their professionalism.” 

 Senath Jayatilake added, “Success is not achieved by one person alone, but by the collective effort of a team. I am proud of our team’s accomplishments and extend my congratulations to all winners. We have the right team, the right strategy, and the right tools to keep marching forward and achieve our goals for this year. I am confident that our focus on innovation, technology, customer service, and employee development will help us stay ahead of the competition and continue to deliver superlative value to our customers.” 

Among the highlights of the event were recognising 236 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifiers, 19 Court of the Table (COT) qualifiers, and 2 Top of the Table (TOT) qualifiers for 2022. These awards are among the most prestigious in the Life Insurance industry, and seek to recognise the top performers as a testament to their hard work, dedication, and
commitment to excellence.
