Zoom, a leading modern enterprise video communications service provider, announced it will launch this summer an all-in-one solution that would provide customers with the tools to create a wide range of engaging virtual experiences.
Branded ‘Zoom Events’, the platform is an extended version of ‘OnZoom’ and aims to cater to the evolving needs of small businesses and enterprises.
“Build your own branded event hub, manage ticketing and registration, use one dashboard to administer user access, and allow your attendees to network during your event. Zoom Events will give you the ability to host a variety of events, from multi-day summits to multi-track conferences,” said the video chatting service provider in its announcement.
With the unveiling of Zoom Events, businesses will be able to: create a ‘hub’ where all of their events will be listed with corresponding information about each experience, offer event hosts the ability to create multi-session events such as conferences where attendees can network with one another in a virtual lobby, and enable event hosts to provide ticketing and registration for attendees, and the ability to track these activities.
Larger businesses will be able to seamlessly manage and host internal events like all-hands and sales summits, or external events like user conferences and consumer events.
Furthermore, companies will be able to group internal events together which will be ‘easily discoverable’ for employees.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic which pushed all work and schooling activities to be carried out online, Zoom has grown to become a household name.
The platform was used across the world to facilitate virtual meetings, classes and birthday parties.
By the end of the company’s financial year 2021, ‘Zoom’ had become a verb and its revenue had jumped 326 percent.
