Blood donation

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) began a blood donation camp in Kurunegala to assist in the battle against Covid Pandemic. The National Blood Bank is suffering from a situation of depleting blood reserves due to an absence of proper procedures to obtain the required blood. The PUCSL said the blood donating campaign was initiated upon a special request by the Blood Bank. The second blood donation campaign is scheduled to be held tomorrow in Marawila with the participation of 100 electricians. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
