Cremation of unclaimed bodies of Covid victims commenced

The Colombo Municipal Council today began cremating unclaimed bodies of coronavirus victims after obtaining legal clearance from the Attorney General. At least 20 bodies are being cremated from today. Officials said that it will take approximately two hours to cremate each body so the process will take a few days. Pix by Indika Sri Aravinda
