An awareness raising seminar against drug abuse and addiction organized by the office of Western Province Senior DIG was held at a hall in Gunasinghapura today. Here, the drug addicts who wished to be rehabilitated were directed to respective centres while those who had not received the COVID-19 vaccine, were administered with the vaccine. Western Province Senior DIG Deshabandu Thennakoon, SSP Nishantha Chandrasiri and OIC of Wellaweediya Police, CI Ajith Peduruarachchi were present at the occasion.
