Indo-Lanka Edu Net launched

Indo-Lanka Edu Net, a platform aimed at connecting alumni from educational institutions in India and Sri Lanka launched its organization as well as its website during an event at the Mandarina Hotel in Colombo.

The event also provided ample networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect with like-minded individuals from various educational backgrounds.

By creating a supportive environment for personal and professional growth, the platform aims to enrich the learning journey of its members, whether they are recent graduates or accomplished professionals. educational opportunities for students in both countries.

Believing in the power of education to make a positive social impact, Indo-Lanka Edu Net aims to address pressing social issues and uplift the less privileged through volunteering opportunities, philanthropic projects, and community outreach.

The launch event commenced with a warm welcome and brief introduction by the host, followed by a welcome speech and program explanation by Mr. Kushan Anthony, the Director of Indo-Lanka Edu Net. The highlight of the event was the official launch of the website by Prof. Sh. Ankuran Dutta, the Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre Colombo, who also delivered a speech as the Chief Guest.

Throughout the program, attendees had the opportunity to engage with esteemed speakers who shared their insights and experiences. Mrs. Upeka Bandaranayake presented on the Indian education experience and thoughts, while Mr. Hasitha Kasun Hapuarachchi explained the future goals, tasks, and objectives of the Edu Net organization.

Indo-Lanka Edu Net invites alumni from Indian universities residing in Sri Lanka to join the association and contribute to its mission of fostering educational collaboration and creating opportunities for students.
