The novel 'Karadu Eththu' written by Jagath Wellawatta, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Italy, was popularized at the Triciano Cinema in Rome, Italy.

This book was launched at the 'Vastu' literary arts festival in Rome. In this novel, a woman's love for her lover, her husband and the complexities she faces after finding out that she has been deceived, have been commented upon.
