People's Power in protest

The National People’s Power (NPP) conducted a protest march and rally in Nugegoda with the theme “Let’s drive away crazy, corrupt regime that sells country & oppresses masses!” The event aimed to express opposition to what the organisers claim as a government that imposes increased taxes, raises commodity prices and electricity bills, sells national resources and enacts repressive decrees.
