Sapugaskanda flare stack burnt off

Due to the unavailability of crude oil stocks, the Sapugaskanda Oil Refinery was shut down today. The flare stack of the petroleum refinery was seen burnt off. Furthermore, people were seen queuing at gas stations to fill up their vehicles in anticipation of a fuel shortage. Pix by Waruna Wanniarachchi
