School athletics champions meet Education Minister

Tarushi Abhishekah and Himansi Dulanjana Pradipani, students who broke the previous records in the 800m and 1,500m events in the under-16 athletics category, met Education Minister Susil Premajayantha today.

The Skills College of Technology (SCOT) agreed to take the responsibility and financial support of providing the necessary training, nutritional needs, medical facilities as well as international competition opportunities for these students. SCOT presenting the relevant promisory certificates to the Minister.
