Teachers protest on Teachers’ Day

The Teachers' and Principals' Trade Unions held a series of protests around the country on the occasion of World Teachers' Day. Teachers and Principals have been demanding an immediate solution to the salary anomalies and the protection of the right to education of children. Their main protest was held at the Lipton Circus in Colombo led by the leaders of the Teachers' and Principals' Trade Unions.
