University students protest over people’s rights

Students of the University of Colombo who do not belong to any union backed by any political party staged a street protest in Colombo today calling on Sri Lankan people to stand up for their rights at this time of economic hardship. They are to stage protests three days a week. Pix by Pradepp Pathirana .
