People are seen queued up to catch the first available bus to travel to their hometowns, are made to wait patiently at the Bastian Mawatha Bus Station in Colombo, before the new year's dawn. Additional buses are added to facilitate the commuters. Pix by Nimalsiri Edirisinghe
