Waterfalls swell again

The waterfalls in the central hills have swelled creating a lovely and attractive sight due to the heavy rain experienced at present.

The scenic beauty of the waterfalls have been attracting local and foreign tourists much to the pleasure of the people living in the vicinity of waterfalls who depended on income from tourists.

Representatives of environmental organizations pointed out that the waterfalls with a lapping sound which could be heard from a distance added to the scenic beauty. By Shantha Chandrasiri
