Former South African cricketer Allan Donald on Friday took a shot at his former employer—Sri Lanka Cricket following Sri Lanka’s shock six-wicket defeat to Zimbabwe in the opening game of the five-match ODI series in Galle on Friday.

Donald who had a two-month stint with Sri Lanka Cricket as the bowling consultant was cynical about Sri Lanka Cricket’s handling of Graham Ford issue.

“Great start to the series from @ZimCricketv beating @OfficialSLC at a canter today. What next..Sack the interim coach next I guess?” Donald wrote in his official twitter handle.

Ford ‘parted ways’ with Sri Lanka Cricket a few days ago, just 15-months into his 45-month contract and Sri Lanka Cricket placed the national team under Nic Pothas for the Zimbabwe and India series.
