Sri Lanka Cricket vice-president Jayantha Dharmadasa has offered to resign ‘taking responsibility’ for the Champions Trophy exit, mirrorcricket.lk learns.

 

 

Poor fielding cost Sri Lanka dearly as they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Pakistan to end their Champions Trophy campaign.

Businessman Dharmadasa who heads the international cricket department of the board had reportedly sent his letter of resignation to Board President Thilanga Sumathipala on Tuesday evening. 

However mirrorcricket.lk can confirm that President Sumathipala has convinced him to stay on.
