Chamindu shines in St. Mary’s thrilling win

Chamindu Nethsara shone with an allround performance in St. Mary’s College, Chilaw’s thrilling one run win over Maris Stella College Thimbirigaskatuwa in the Under 19 inter-school limited over tournament encounter played at Thimibirigaskatuwa.

Nethsara’s half ton helped the Marians take first lease of the wicket to make 119 runs and his four wicket haul enabled them to bowl out Maris Stella for 118 runs.

In the other matches that were played saw Sri Devananda MV Ambalangoda along with Taxila Central Horana, Christ King College Ja-ela, Rajasinghe Central Hanwella and Nalanda Boys School Minuwangoda winning their matches. (M. Shamil Amit)
