DSS down Trinity by three runs on Parabola

COLOMBO (Daily Mirror) - D.S. Senanayake College recorded a close three run win on Parabola system over Trinity in the Under 19 inter-school limited over tournament encounter played at Wijerama Mawatha.

The match curtailed to 40 overs saw Trinity taking first lease of the wicket made a score of 207 for 8 and DSS in their run chase was on 177 for 7 having faced 30 overs when the match was stopped due to rain which ensured a close win for DSS.

De Mazenod continued their winning spree when they chalked up a comfortable six wicket win over Royal in the match played at Kandana. Maris Stella Negombo along with Royal Panadura, Rahula Matara and Jaffna Central came out victorious in the other matches that were played.
