Dimath spins Maliyadeva to victory

Colombo, Jan. 16 (Daily Mirror) - An impressive match bag figure of 9 for 65 by left arm spinner Dimath Abeysinghe helped Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala to record a comfortable eight wicket win over Mahinda College, Galle in a low scoring match of the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Kurunegala.

P. de S. Kularatne MV Ambalangoda coasted to a convincing ten wicket win over Kalutara MV in another match played at Ambalangoda and the other matches that were played ended in first innings wins for Prince of Wales, St. Benedict’s and Bandaranayake MV Gampaha.
