Former SLC VP Rajaratnam passes away

Feb. 14 (SLC) - Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today released a condolence message on the passing away of Trevor Rajaratnam, who was the former Vice-President (VP) of SLC, Patron and Life Member of Colombo Colts Cricket Club.

Rajaratnam, who was also a former Treasurer of SLC, did a yeomen service to the game of cricket in Sri Lanka as an administrator.

“Sri Lanka’s cricket fraternity remains indebted to him for the valuable services he rendered for the game in the country.”

“We wish to express our condolences to Trevor’s family, friends, and relatives at this moment of sadness.”

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka players wore black armbands during today's third One Day International against Afghanistan to pay tribute to the late Rajaratnam, the former SLC Administrator.
