Havies should have it easy over Navy

Colombo, Jan. 18 (Daily Mirror) - Havelock SC will start favourites when they take on Navy SC in their SLR Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament encounter at Havelock Park tomorrow. The kick-off is at 6.30 p.m.

The Havies will be hoping to record their fourth win of the tournament while the Sailors who are yet to see the winning post are left with the daunting task of evading their opponents from going on the rampage.

Havelock SC lost their previous match to their traditional rivals CR and FC but will be determined to make amends and bounce back in preparation for the second round of the competition.

Police SC vs Air Force SC

Meanwhile, Air Force SC will take on Police SC in another fixture at the Police Park Saturday. The kick-off is at 4.00 p.m.

The Airmen will be confident having dismantled Army SC to record their second win while Police SC will be aiming to regain their lost prestige after their defeat to the CH and FC last week.

CH and FC vs Army SC

CH and FC will look to end the first round of the tournament on a high when they take on Army SC in another match at Panagoda Saturday. The kick-off is at 4.00 p.m.

CH and FC are currently placed third in the points table with four wins from six outings while the Soldiers have just a solitary win to their credit.
