S. Thomas’ record first innings win

S. Thomas’ Mt. Lavinia succeeded to gain a close first innings win over Mahinda College, Galle in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at the SSC ground.

Mahinda in reply to the Thomians score of 217 resuming from their overnight score of 1 for 0 was bowled out for 197 with Dulsith Dharshana making a top score of 52.

Thurstan coasted to an easy first innings win against Maris Stella in another match which ended at Negombo.
