In commemoration of International Children’s Day, in the month October, Kanrich Finance launched two projects aimed at the uplifting the lives of children with little access to both clean water and educational supplies.
The projects were focused in the Hambantota district, the Tangalle Educational Zone, Agunakolapalassa, Pahalagama.
Children from junior schools were provided with equipment for extra-curricular musical activities, whilst a clean drinking water project was inaugurated in Semmandaluwa Primary School in Puttalam.
For the first time, the teachers were allowed to see the children apply their learning on to professional equipment at the ceremonial hand-over. It was indeed a joyous and emotional occasion for the parents to see their children who once fashioned drums out of lids of various discarded items to play on brand new musical equipment.Kanrich Finance’s mandate towards their social responsibility takes on a targeted approach, aimed at seeking out areas that require immediate attention, much like the two projects launched this month.  These causes are carried out under the patronage and guidance of the top management including the Chief Executive Office, Shiran Weerasinghe and with the active contribution of the staff of Kanrich.
