ESOFT-Sirasa ‘E-Thilina’ donates fifth computer lab

  The fifth successive computer laboratory with internet and other modern facilities was donated to Uduhawara Vidyalaya at Uduhawara, Welimada under the continuing ESOFT-Sirasa ‘E-Thilina’ community service initiative recently. 
ESOFT Metro Campus, which has launched the ‘E-Thilina’ community service oriented initiative in partnership with Sirasa Television, donates a fully-equipped Computer Laboratory every month to a deserving school. 
This program is implemented on the basis that such a vital facility is unavailable in a school despite the presence of students either clever at IT (Information Technology) or keen to pursue the subject as part of their educational curricular and for professional advancement in the long-term. The maiden computer laboratory under this ongoing initiative was donated to Kumbukwewa Maha Vidyalaya at Ibbagamuwa, Kurunegala, while the second facility was provided to Sevamuktha Kandoru Navodya Maha Vidyalaya at Polonnaruwa and the third to Dombagoda Maha Vidyalaya at Ahangama, Matara, the forth to Kottukachchiya Maha Vidyalaya at Puttalam.
The ceremonial opening of the new computer laboratory at Uduhawara  Vidyalaya at Uduhawara, Welimada under the ‘E-Thilina’ community service project, was held under the patronage of Nishan Sembacuttiaratchy Chief Executive Officer ESOFT Metro Campus, Harsha Ravindra Assistant Manager Branch Operations,  Sahan Wishwaleka Manager Monaragala Branch, Sanath Nandana Programmes Executive Sirasa Rupavahini,  Daminda Nissanka Sales Manager MTV/MBC, Susantha Samaramadu, Networks Manager, Priyantha Wijesinghe, Director Public Relations and Samarakoon, Principal, Uduhawara  Vidyalaya.
