Kanrich Finance showcases admirable humane gesture

Sacrificing his own life, Saman Kumara saved the life of a child hit by a train at the Ragama railway station, recently. This humane gesture cost him in losing both his legs.

Kanrich Finance promptly stepped in to help this heroic victim, who put his own life at stake, to save the life of an innocent child and decided to support the victim’s daughter in helping her education up to university level.

As reported by the media, the board of directors of Kanrich Finance has decided to extend assistance to this helpless daughter. The people of this country now regard Kanrich Finance as an institution that occupies the forefront in recognizing humane needs and fulfilling those-going well beyond their business objectives, as an indigenous financial institute.

While presenting the cheque of patronage to and Saman Kumara and his wife, it was stated that Saman Kumara’s kind gesture, was a noble sacrifice for the whole of humanity. Speaking on this occasion, General Manager Eranda Amal Godage stated, “Being able to rescue a child of the same age-group as my own daughter was of greater importance to me than risking my own life.” 

Further, Kumara stated, “I still regret, that I was not able to save the child’s mother. I am immensely pleased that Kanrich Finance has come forward to look after the future of my child’s education, especially at a time I am fully disabled and have become incapable of doing my job.”

Both Kanrich Finance General Manager Eranda Amal Godage and Chief Manager Gampaha Region Dimuthu Perera were present during the time of presenting the cheque.
