Nithyakalyani Jewellery-Rotary Club organise blood donation camp

 Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery together with Rotary Club of Colombo East is set to organise a mega blood donation campaign for the second consecutive year. 

The blood donation campaign will be held at the Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery office on Sunday, July 12, 2015.

Nithyakalyani CEO A.P. Jayarajah said, “We treat this project as our service and commitment to the needy society and we are happy to initiate such an event together with the Rotary Club of Colombo East and the blood bank of Sri Lanka. Blood is an essential need for the country and we consider it as our duty to join the efforts of the Rotary Club of Colombo East on continuous basis. The event last year was a grand success, this year too we expect over a 100 donors for this worthy initiative, especially youth donors, the future of our society.”

As an encouragement of participation the organisers have decided to gift a beautiful travelling bag to the donor as means of appreciating the contribution to the society. The company has arranged ample parking facilities and other necessities for the benefit of the donor.
