The fifth seminar of Sampath Bank ‘Pahe Shishyathwa’ programme was successfully conducted recently at the Ranasinghe Premedasa National College in Hasalaka.

This time the seminar actively engaged over 1500 enthusiastic students due to sit for the Grade Five Scholarship Exam in August and over 800 parents. With this overwhelming response, the organisers were left with no choice but to conduct the seminar and workshops in two sessions in order to cater to the enormous attendance.

Being open to students sitting for the scholarship exam each year and their parents, the Pahe Shishyathwa programme has built a strong foundation to equip students with vital knowledge to face their first biggest examination with ease and confidence. As a result, the free-of-charge workshop saw an enormous turnout in Mahiyangana.

Building on the significant success, overwhelming response and appreciation gained for the Pahe Shishyathwa programme during the past few years, Sampath Bank accountholders and their schools that prove to be the highest achievers at this year’s exam will be rewarded with substantial cash prizes amounting to lakhs of rupees.

The upcoming workshops in the Pahe Shishyathwa seminar series will be held on July 25 in Nuwara Eliya (Tamil medium) and August 8 in Gampaha.
