Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lankan Qi Zhenhong called on Mahanayake theros of the Asgiriya chapter and the Malwathu chapter at Kandy.

Plans to refine crude oil and establish some 150 Chinese fuel stations and were discussed at this meeting.
