Committee on Demarcation of Wards for Local Authorities hands over preliminary report

A preliminary report by the Committee on Demarcation of Wards for Local Authorities was handed over to Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardane by Committee Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya.

"The Committee's tenure has been extended until April 30. Therefore the suggestions and proposals to this draft report by various parties, including political parties are to be added to the final report," Deshapriya said.
