Gotabaya wanted to murder three of my aides - Mervyn recalls how he saved lives

Former Minister Mervyn Silva recalling how he saved lives during the Rajapaksa regime, said that former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa almost murdered three of his aides.

“Three of my aides were taken to be murdered by Gotabaya and his hidden army. I threatened former President Mahinda with my resignation,” Silva said, adding that President Mahinda Rajapaksa called off the killings as he didn’t want to accept the letter of resignation.
