President Ranil Wickremesinghe said a formal plan to develop Nuwara Eliya town must be drafted instead of ad-hoc measures to develop the town.
"Honestly, many say Nuwara Eliya is an ugly town. Do you want it to become uglier with these plans?" the President questioned officials during a discussion held at the Nuwara Eliya District Secretariat.
