’Muthuraja’ flown back to Thailand - Thai authorities to continue treatment of ailing animal

'Muthuraja' the ailing Tusker gifted to Sri Lanka by Thailand in 2001 was flown back to its native country this morning onboard a Russian cargo flight.

A special team of Thai veterinarians attended to the animal and will continue its treatment in Thailand.
