LG continues to make life even better by introducing the LG Pocket Photo printer to Sri Lanka. LG Pocket Photo printers will soon be available at Abans showrooms islandwide.

As the name suggests, this convenient and portable little device measures at a mere 4.75 inches tall, 2.83 inches wide and 0.94 inches thick and allows you instantly print out pictures on photo quality paper.

This tiny printer looks strikingly similar to an old school Polaroid camera, but creates pictures of a much higher standard. Pocket Photo works when you transfer images from your smartphone to the device for immediate printing.

The device needs to be used in conjunction to the LG Pocket Photo app, which takes pictures using the phone’s camera.

The app also allows you to edit these pictures and can even generate QR codes that you can print out.

The Pocket Photo printer is equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) which means that your photo can be transferred from your smartphone to your printer by simply putting the devices within range of each other.

The typical distance for NFC technology ranges from about 3mm to 18mm. However, Bluetooth technology or even a USB cable can be used to transfer images.
Zero Ink (Zink) Technology is what is used to actually print the images you transfer. The printer heats up dye crystals embedded inside the printing paper, which triggers colour changes according to that of the image. The pictures created by the printer measure two by three inches.

This compact, portable and cute device is available in pink, silver and orange and is perfect for all those spontaneous fun moments that you wish you could freeze in time.
