Ceylinco Life has been voted Sri Lanka’s most popular life insurance company in 2021 and was presented the SLIM Kantar Peoples Award for a record 16th consecutive year at the awards gala hosted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) on 21st March 2022.

This remarkable achievement makes Ceylinco Life the only company in its sector to win the coveted SLIM Peoples Award every year since the inception of the awards programme.

The clear confirmation of Ceylinco Life’s popularity came just weeks after the Company’s status as the market leader in Sri Lanka’s life insurance industry for the 18th consecutive year was affirmed by its financial results for 2021.

A hallmark awards event of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, the Peoples Awards programme is the result of collaboration between the Institute and Kantar Group, UK. The award winners are chosen solely by people’s votes, through country-wide research conducted by Kantar. The awards honour the country’s top brands across multiple sectors each year, with respondents to the survey asked to mention their favourite brands and personalities across various categories.

“Popularity is a fickle thing, which makes being voted the people’s favourite life insurance company for an uninterrupted 16 years an amazing achievement,” Ceylinco Life General Manager – Marketing Samitha Hemachandra commented.

“This is an inspiring public endorsement of how Ceylinco Life is consistently doing things right as it carries out its mission of helping Sri Lankans de-risk their future through the safety net of life insurance. The brand’s continuing popularity will further strengthen our resolve as well as our ability to help millions of Sri Lankans secure their future with a trusted life insurance partner.”
