NDB signs up Softlogic Retail to offer Western Union services

National Development Bank PLC (NDB), a principal agent of Western Union, has recently signed up Softlogic Retail (Pvt.) Ltd to offer Western Union Money TransferSM services through its full channel of Softlogic and Softlogic Max stores, which retail a range of world-renowned consumer electronics brands across the island.
Through this relationship, NDB hopes to further advocate the use of the Western Union Money Transfer service, which is a fast, reliable and flexible mode to transmit money across borders, making it more accessible for its customers.  Softlogic is a leading player in the consumer durables segment, holding authorised distributorships for several well-known brands such as: Panasonic, Samsung, Whirlpool, Candy and Dell in its portfolio. With its 230 showrooms plus strong retail presence spread across the country, this makes a perfect fit to bring more access to customers who wish to receive money via Western Union services.
