Pan Asia Bank welcomes two new directors to Board

Pan Asia Bank recently announced two additions to its Board of Directors, welcoming Sandra Walgama and Chethiya Umagiliya as Directors to join its eminent panel of board members. 


Sandra Walgama was the former Senior Deputy General Manager, Personal Banking, at Commercial Bank. She holds over 40 years of banking experience and is specialized in Banking , Finance , Wealth management , Corporate banking and SME /Retail banking. 


She is a Director at CBC Myanmar Micro Finance Company Ltd. She was previously a Director of CBC Tech Solutions Limited. She is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka, Associate of the Institute of Administrative Accounting (London), and holds a diploma in bank management from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and Diploma in Wealth Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment London. 
Chethiya Umagiliya is a focused entrepreneur with 17 years of experience in the gem industry and in the real estate business. He has wide experience in various businesses and business management. 


Currently , he is a Director at Uni Dil Packaging Ltd, Uni Dil Packaging Solutions Ltd, Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC, Swisstek Aluminium PLC and The Fortress Resorts PLC . 


The impressive performance for the first nine-month period in 2021 paves the way to stellar end-of-year financial results for Pan Asia Bank. 


The bank’s performance was characterised by strength and resilience despite the heightened uncertainty due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
