Leading home-grown one-stop payment app PayMaster has won two awards at the recent LankaPay Technnovation 2023 Awards. The app won the Gold Award for Best Mobile Application for Retails Payments in the Fintech sector and a Merit Award for Most Popular Digital Payment App of the Year.

The PayMaster app has quickly gained the trust of Sri Lankan consumers in just four years by providing a wide range of financial technology services to meet the daily payment needs of Sri Lankans. The app is powered by JustPay, Sri Lanka’s national mobile payment processing network, which operates under the full supervision of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

Through the PayMaster app, users can easily fulfill their online payment needs, including local currency exchange, 18 types of bill payments, doctor channeling, medicine search (Medi Search), sending money to Sri Lanka from abroad, paying for goods and services in Sri Lanka, and donating money to help Sri Lanka from abroad, among many other services.

One of the PayMaster app’s unique features is the PayMaster Money Transfer service, which provides customers with the convenience of transferring money through a single app, even if they have several bank accounts with different banks. This service has gained great popularity by avoiding the inconvenience of switching to separate apps from bank to bank and providing fast and reliable service. In addition, the PayMaster app offers an in-app credit service to pay bills in case of a cash emergency. Customers can easily access credit for bill payment, and there are many convenient payment methods available to them. It’s worth noting that the Medi Search service, introduced last year, is a completely free service and is a social responsibility initiative by PayMaster. This service has become very popular among Sri Lankans, allowing customers to easily find the nearest pharmacy that has the medicines they are looking for from the comfort of their homes.

This year, the PayMaster app has introduced a new service that allows users to send money from abroad to Sri Lanka easily. Users can add their credit or debit card to send money, even if they don’t have cash on hand. This feature enables users to send money from any country around the world to any bank account in Sri Lanka in just two seconds.
