People’s Bank inaugurates Self Banking Unit in Udispattuwa

People’s Bank recently introduced the benefits of modern banking services to the people of Udispattuwa by opening a Self Banking Unit (SBU) at the Medadumbara Pradeshiya Sabaha Fair (Pola) building. 


Prior to this, there was no commercial banking presence in Udispattuwa town.


The Self Banking Unit, which consists of an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and a Cash Deposit Machine (CDM), allows customers to enjoy fast, convenient digital banking services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days of the year.

Dehemigama Devamitta, Nuwan Pradeep Dissanayake - Coordinating Secretary of Central Bank Governor, Sujeewa Rajapakse - Chairman, Ranjith Kodituwakku - Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, Mahinda Premanath - Deputy General Manager-Channel Management, Nalaka Wijayawardana - Head of Marketing, all from People’s Bank, Ashoka Samarakoon - Chairman of Medadumbara Pradeshiya Sabha, A. M. Wickramaarachchi - Medadumbara Divisional Secretary together with People’s Bank’s Buddhika Ranatungage - Regional Manager-Kandy, Tissa Tennakoon - Assistant Regional Manager, and S.B.S.K.
