Charith Kamaladasa has assumed duties as the Chairman of Ceybank Asset Management Limited (Ceybank AML), the managers of Ceybank Funds and one of the leading asset management companies in Sri Lanka.
Kamaladasa is the seventh chairman of the company of its 23-year existence.
Ceybank AML is an associate company of Bank of Ceylon owning 44 percent of its shareholding. Other shareholders are Sri Lanka Insurance, Unit Trust of India and Carsons Cumberbatch respectively owning 26 percent, 17.5 percent and 12.5 percent of the shareholding.
The company is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka, while National Savings Bank is functioning as the trustee of the Ceybank Funds.
