Habib Bank opens branch in Galle

HBL, the largest bank in Pakistan has had a history in excess of 65 years in Sri Lanka and was one of the first banks to be set up in Pettah. 

The bank has further enhanced its foot print in Sri Lanka and its commitment to the Sri Lankan economy by opening its 5th branch in Galle on July 29th. 

The new Galle branch is located at Matara Road, Galle. The branch will offer conventional as well as Islamic banking products such as Current and Savings accounts, Fixed Deposits, Foreign currency accounts, Trade and Treasury services etc. 

HBL has also expanded its product portfolio in line with its client’s requirements and has also recently launched a VISA Debit card as well as internet banking, both supported by a 24X7 call Centre. The bank also intends to launch Auto Loans and Small Business finance programs in the near future. Additional value added financial services will also be launched soon so as to make HBL a one stop shop where its clients can meet all their banking needs under one roof.
