120 Artistes awarded with Justice of Peace title

• Title was awarded to veteran artistes in the fields of cinema, stage, television, tele-drama, music, singing, songwriting, etc

A total of 120 Sri Lankan artistes, including actors and actresses, who have contributed their skills and creativity to the advancement of local art were awarded Justice of the Peace appointments yesterday.   

The Ministry of Justice, under a concept introduced by Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs & Constitutional Reforms Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, has awarded these titles at a ceremony at the Ministry yesterday.   

The title of Justice of the Peace was awarded to veteran artistes in the fields of cinema, stage, television, tele-drama, music, singing, songwriting, etc.
