15 injured in van double cab collision at Embilipitiya

• Six children five women among the wounded

At least 15 passengers were injured in a head on collision between a van and a double cab in Embilipitiya town on Saturday evening (15). Six children and five women were among those injured. The injured, several of them in critical condition, were admitted to the Embilipitiya District Hospital.    

Police said the van had been knocked off the road due the impact of the collision and that the double cab had been running on the right side of the road and rammed against the van.
