A handful of senior security officers conspired against Former President : Aluthgamage

• These officers did not follow orders given by former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa

One or two senior officers in the security forces were engaged in a conspiracy during the Aragalaya, MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage told Parliament yesterday.   
“ These officers did not follow orders given by former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa” the MP said   

“ These details have been revealed by investigation reports. I don’t want to name these persons till the reports come out. We request that the reports be submitted to Parliament,” he said.   
The MP said the ruling party MPs have already requested the President to appoint a select committee to look into the happenings of Aragalaya including that of May 9.
