Australian dies after jumping from Crescat in Kollupitiya

• The Australian national has reportedly committed suicide by jumping from the Crescat apartment complex
• The foreigner, who held dual citizenship, had been temporarily residing on the 7th floor of the building

 51-year-old Australian national has reportedly committed suicide by jumping from the Crescat apartment complex in Kollupitiya last morning.

Police said, the foreigner, who held dual citizenship, had been temporarily residing on the 7th floor of the building.   

He reportedly jumped from the floor and was rushed to the National Hospital Colombo.  

The Kollupitiya Police are currently investigating the incident.
