Court refuses to lift travel ban on Sanath Nishantha

Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday rejected a request made by State Minister Sanath Nishantha that his travel ban be temporarily lifted, enabling him to go abroad.

The Court had imposed a travel ban on Sanath Nishantha in connection with the incidents that took place at Temple Trees and Galle Face on May 9.
