Sri Lanka Customs announced the launch of its new tracking system for Customs Declarations (CusDec) and containers, which is available for the public online from November 6th.
Customs Spokesperson Additional Director General Seevali Arukgoda said the initiative is part of Sri Lanka Customs’ ongoing commitment to streamline services and support the efficiency of the nation’s trading ecosystem.
This tracking system enables traders and stakeholders to monitor their cargo clearance processes with ease, providing access to:

Real-Time Status of Customs Declarations – Users can view the latest updates on customs declarations, including the status of cargo clearance and related tax information.
Individual Container Tracking – Traders can track the status of each container within a declaration, allowing for comprehensive oversight and improved planning.
The consignees by using their TIN number and the respective CusDec number can retrieve this information on real real-time basis from November 6th onwards.
The newly launched system reflects Customs’ dedication to embracing digital transformation in order to facilitate trade, enhance transparency and drive economic progress in the country.
The tracking system can be accessed via mobile phones through a web browser and can also be installed on mobile devices as an app, making it even more convenient for users on the go.
